Cyber Security Seminar: Business Networks vs. Bad Guy Hackers
Modern business owners need to be vigilant about protecting their network and their data. Locking the front door is not the only security measure every business must do daily. If one bad guy hacker gets in, you could lose everything. Are you secure? Do you have a plan for if the worst happens? During this discussion seminar, we will learn about the Bad Guys and how to protect yourself, your information and your company finances.
All attendees will also be eligible for a network security scan of their business network!
David Hodgert is the VP of Sales & Marketing and a partner at 10D Tech. 10D Tech manages and supports IT infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, workstations, cloud services, and phone systems. We bring expertise to clients in many areas, including cybersecurity, cloud solutions, systems management and industry best practices. A well designed and secure business network helps our clients stay competitive and increase overall staff efficiency.
In 1999, Dave & family moved to Corvallis to help the founders of ProAxis Internet Service build a Telephone service (CLEC) company. Before the move, Dave had built several companies in Bend, OR. – Framing Contractor, General Contractor & Developer, Cigars & Humidor Manufacturer, Gin Distiller and a retail cigar shop. At 10D Tech, Dave is able to use all of his acquired problem-solving and people skills to connect clients with solutions that will improve their business on a daily basis. Dave has been married to Lori for over 30 years. They have 3 children and expecting their first grandchild in June 2020. In his spare time, you can find Dave on a mountain, at a Beaver athletic event or on a project around the homestead.
