Why Spiral Design ELEMENTS is a Qualified Resource for Interior Design Services
Spiral Design ELEMENTS is a full service interior design firm that practices in the K-12, Higher Education, Corporate and Healthcare markets. Centrally located in Oregon in the city of Corvallis since 2011, the firm’s Principals have completed significant, innovative and complex Education projects spanning from Oregon to North Carolina to Alaska.
The ownership structure is a Sole Proprietor and we are a certified DBE/WBE in the State of Oregon. Together, the two Principals, Cathy Kerr and John Morris collectively have 74 years of experience in the field of interior design and have produced numerous, award winning designs.
We handle all aspects of a project, beginning with programming, and through all phases of design and construction administration. We also select and specify interior finishes as well as furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and assist in the procurement and installation of the FF&E.
We are well versed in working on State funded projects, particularly for the Higher Education and K12 Markets, and understand the complexities of producing work adhering to the process and regulations State funded projects require.
Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team organization is one our strengths and our projects typically include working with: Architects, Civil, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing and Structural Engineers, Landscape Architects, Lighting Designers, Environmental Branding Specialists, Audio-Visual Designers, Acoustical and Security Consultant’s.
Everything we do springs from an understanding and appreciation of the transformative power of thoughtful, creative and well-executed design. Interior design and architecture accomplish more than just enhancing an environment. When developed to work in concert with the University’s goals and aspirations, the interiors Spiral Design ELEMENTS accomplishes stimulate collaboration and creativity, nurture brand and University loyalty, elevate understanding and productivity will support the well-being of faculty, staff, students, parents and visitors to an institutions campus.
A license or certification to practice interior design in Oregon is not required.
