Event Description
Leadership is not a “one size fits all” proposition. Effective leaders learn to adapt their approach to different people and situations while maintaining their leadership integrity. Effective leaders learn to build on their leadership strengths and to improve their skills in areas where they are naturally weaker. We will:
Explore different leadership styles – Direct, Spirited, Considerate, Systematic – and review some characteristics, behaviors, strengths and weaknesses of each style
Discuss the value and effectiveness of an adaptable approach to leadership
Identify some specific ways successful leaders adapt their styles to meet the needs of different employees and situations
