Jake Oken-Berg serves as business liaison to U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley. As business liaison, Jake has the privilege of meeting with businesses across Oregon to share Senator Merkley’s priorities and receive industry feedback on federal policies. Jake will speak to Senator Merkley’s three key priorities – supporting a strong economy with family wage jobs; combating climate chaos; rebuilding "We the People" democracy – and the important intersections for Oregon businesses in all three areas. With Senator Merkley's team since 2011, Jake was born and raised in Oregon and previously worked for U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, the Oregon Business Council, and as a political consultant.
